London Underground enamel STOCK-NUMBER PLATE from 1938-Tube Stock Driving Motor Car 10211. These plates were located inside, at the end of each car above the inter-communicating door. In good, ex-use condition, small enamel-loss at the screw-holes, some splashes of bronze paint (easily removed, if wished) from the re-painting of the grille behind the plate upon car overhaul. [1]
Pair of London Transport enamel BUS STOP FLAGS, the first a 1940s double-sided, flat type 'Request Stop' with two plates in a bronze frame, complete with fixing rods, and the second a 1950s/60s double-sided, hollow, 'boat' type 'Bus & Coach Request' type. Both measure 18" x 15.5" (46cm x 39cm) and are in much-used condition with weathering and small chips to the enamel. [2]
