A late 19th century French bronze ornamental ewer, with a melon panelled compressed body with a standing putto, previously linked to the spout, and a seated cherub holding garlands of oak, ivy and barley with two birds, a lobster and a hare, on a knoped stem and concave cornered square base, inscribed `VITTOZ BRONZIER A PARIS,` 16.75in (42.5cm) h.
A pair of bronze lamps, modelled as classical urns on cherrywood tripod torcheres made by Matthew Burt, the lamps with fittings: 31in (79cm) h, the stands: 48in (122cm) h, 21in (53cm) w. (2) Provenance The lamps were bought at the Robert Maxwell sale, Sotheby`s 1993. The stands were commissioned by Lord Parmoor from Matthew Burt in 1993.
