BRONZE MEDAL Bronze Medal and original case awarded to Norman Wright on the Manchester City Tour of Italy in 1934. Case indicates that the medal comes from Florence and City played Fiorentina on May 13th 1934 drawing 3-3. The medal has a footballer on one side and a lion on a pedestal on the other with 1933-34 inscribed on the pedestal, slight damage to case. Generally good

The mortar having a flared rim and frieze of text; HENDRIK KEMPER AMSTERDAM ANNO 1729, above two intricately cast bands; one of figures and animals amongst scrolls of undulating foliage, the other of beaded acanthus. 11½ ins (29 cms) in height, 15½ ins (39 cms) in diameter, standing on a solid stand of turned wood, 35 ins (89 cms) overall in height. *

The underside of the shallow bell form base bearing a wax seal and inscribed `N; 1578;ng` and numbered 19. Measuring 10 ins (25 cms) high. *
