ATTRIBUTED TO FREDERICK GORDON CROSBY Captain Eyston in his record breaking MG Midget, bronze, mounted on an oak base and with plaque to the front with MG emblem dated February 1932 and engraved 'This bronze is to commemorate the attainment of a speed of 118.38 m.p.h. by Capt. G.E.T. Eyston on the worlds fastest baby car the M.G. Midget on Pendine Sands', the base 25.5cm wide x 12.5cm deep   This bronze belonged to the vendour's father who received this bronze for his work on the design and manufacture of the MG Midget. There were a total of 13 statues given to employees who helped build the Midget.
