A bronze table lamp modelled as Hercules wearing lion skin converted to electricity (possibly formerly an oil lamp) on square section base, height 37.5cm.Additional InformationGeneral wear throughout including scratches and pitting as well as surface scuffs, marks, discolouration, rubbing etc. The lion skin a little lose in its fitting and as stated we believe this could have been an oil lamp later converted to electricity as the figures are holding something aloft which is no longer present, possibly the oil reservoir. There is also a surface loss to his cape by the fitment and further surface loss where the finish has been worn away.
A pair of late 19th century bronze figural candlesticks with columns modelled as cupids on alabaster plinths to square sectioned bases, height approx 25cm (2).Additional InformationBoth of the sconces have been knocked and are now at an angle. One of the sticks is very loose to the base with the leaf detailed plate loose as well. Both with heavy general wear including scratches, pitting, discolouration, dirt, tarnish, etc, as well as scratches and abrasions to the stone bases.
