Barrie, June 1890', 94cm long Henry Broadhurst M.P. was a Labour Politician and also instrumental in the founding of Royal Cromer Golf Club in 1888. Among the early member were many Royals and members of the Aristocracy, also authors including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and James Matthew Barrie, author of Peter Pan. This is presumably where the two met and perhaps where this golf club was presented.In used condition with various minor dents and scratches to the head, the inscription readable, the makers mark worn. the leather grip worn, especially at the top.
