dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan, Katana. Shinogi-zukuri blade (nagasa 62 cm.) Hamon: midare gunome, togari tobiaki. Small flaws. Period: late Edo, late 18th / early 19th century.Wakizashi. Shinogi-zukuri blade (nagasa 49 cm.) With the writing: Soshu Ju Masatsugu. Sue-koto / Muromachi. (about XVI century). Hamon: midare gunome. Not visible hada. Better-preserved than the katana.Both with koshirae of the late Edo period (19th century) with a mokko-shaped iron tsuba partially carved to imitate the basketwork and with round gold and silver-inlaid floral motifs. Quality fuchi and kashira, in shakudo nanako with characters in relief such as samurai and sages wearing precious golden robes. Menuki en suite like the rest with the effigy of a shishi, one always gilded, his twin bronze-coloured. Tsuka-ito of not recent production (that of the katana less damaged). The latter also features a kozuka with signed kogatana. Silver habaki decorated in relief. The ancient saya but with regenerated glossy black lacquer, that of the wakizashi with kogatana featuring traces of signature and kozuka made of copper-coloured metal in relief and with small gilded decorations. length 68 - 87 cm.

Saya in red and black lacquer. Kogatana-mei with grip decorated with a human figure with fan and floral motifs, partially gilded. length 45.5 cm.

Wooden grip covered with leather without wire binding. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings and brass mouthpiece. length 94 cm.

Shakudo nanako tsuba of maru-gata shape engraved with racemes and with dragonfly and crab both gilded and in relief, also the border is gilded and roped. A gilded copper seppa. Bronze fuchi-kashira with finishing and with nanako decoration on which golden elements in relief depciting various characters stand out. Gilded Shakudo nanako menuki with birds in relief. Earlier fish-skin tsuka (cracked). Vintage, light-blue tsuka-ito with minor signs of use. Lacquered wooden saya with slightly raised transversal bands (very slightly damaged and finishing showing signs of aging). Scabbard without kogatana and complete with kurikata. Scabbard length: 32.5 cm. Scabbard opening at the base 2.1 cm. Complete with replaced bamboo blade. length total closed 46 cm.
dating: 1840 circa provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Beautiful straight, two-edged blade, central groove at the first part with the inscription 'KISSING MOLLMANN' and the inscription 'A ISERLOHN' among very fine engravings with trophies and floral motifs on the other side. Bronze hilt, coat of arms with three lilies on flags on the shell-guard, rear valve, quillons and guard decorated with floral motifs. Pommel shaped as a head with plumed helmet. Spiral horn grip with metal wire binding. Leather scabbard with bronze mounts. length 94.5 cm.

Bronze, garde de Bataille hilt with large pierced shell, scabbard cover decorated with vines, loop guard ending in a curl, five crossbars, smooth cap. Bronze hilt with double valve, hilt with arches, guard with grooves at the edges and oval pommel with grooves. dating: 1847 provenance: Naples, Straight, single-and-false-edged blade with double fuller, the tang marked with the mark of the Naples factory, 'S' and year '1847'. Bronze hilt with four loop-guards, short cap and grip covered with leather and metal wire binding. Marked '3. S. N. 54.'. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings and brass cap. length 113 cm.
