INTÉRESSANT BASSIN IRANIEN monté sur un petit talon en alliage de cuivre rouge, étamé à l'origine, la paroi externe à décor de plusieurs registres superposés: le bandeau supérieur orné d'une frise calligraphiée de versets persans en nasta'liq ; le registre principal avec des scènes de la littérature persane dans des médaillons, tirées du Khamse de Nizami. Sous ce registre courent des frises calligraphiées, de fleurons, d'arabesques de palmettes.
