A scarce British Military issue 5 shot 54 bore Beaumont Adams double action percussion revolver, with London proofs and engraved ?London Armoury? on the top flat, frame engraved ?B8949 Adams? Patent No 24,620R? and broad arrow over WD, chequered walnut butt pierced for lanyard and with government inspector?s mark (faint). Good Working Order and Condition, retaining approximately 40% of original blued finish; in its flap top leather holster (worn) bearing broad arrow over WD, date (1868?) and owner?s initials; together with an accessories leather pouch, also bearing broad arrow over WD (stitching slightly AF) containing a double cavity bronze bullet mould bearing Adams? Registration stamp and government inspector?s mark, a Dixon?s patent copper powder flask, 7? overall, with 3 broad arrow and WD stamps (spring AF, body badly dented), an L shaped combination oil bottle, pricker, nipple key and turnscrew, and a brass tipped steel cleaning rod. A late 18th century silver mounted Turkish sword shamshir, flat, curved pointed blade 32?, with bronze gilt inlaid maker?s (?) mark near forte on one side, mameluke style hilt, the engraved silver crossguard with langets into beaded wirebound lower band into darkwood grip with studded florets and silver bands, in its tooled leather scabbard with large 2 section sheet silver locket, decorated with stylized floral panels and beaded edges, 2 lozenge inserts with half moon rings. Blissett, High Holborn, London?, London proved, frame engraved Patent No 1312, with rammer on left side and 2 piece chequered walnut grips. Good Working Order and Condition, the barrel retaining much original blued finish, some finish to remainder, in its original green baize lined fitted oak case, containing a good bag shaped copper flask by Sykes (spring AF), single cavity bronze bullet mould stamped ?WD? and ?54?, cleaning rod, turnscrew, nipple key with pricker cap tin, and pewter oil bottle. Good Working Order and Condition, retaining traces of original blued finish; in its green baize lined fitted mahogany case with circular brass lid and keyhole escutcheons, containing double cavity bronze bullet mould, also stamped ?W Tranter?s Patent No 50?, shell embossed zinc flask, cleaning rod, cap tin, grease tin, stripping spanner and replacement pewter oil bottle.
