ROD: Extremely rare WJ Cummins Bishop Auckland "The Anglo American", 17` 3 piece + correct spare tip, c1880 spliced split cane and cedar fly rod, nickel on brass tube reel seat, fully engraved butt cap, swollen cedar handle, bronze snake guides heavily close whipped burgundy silk, nickel stud lock fittings stamped "Patent", both retaining the original cover caps, nickel plated copper lined end rings, fine throughout, never seen another, c/w bamboo tip tube.
RODS: (2) Scarce Hardy "The No.1 Wallis Rod" 11` 3 piece, whole cane butt/mid, split cane tip, high bells guides (rusty), whipped green, bronze ferrules, wood stoppers, 13" cork handle with alloy reel rings, brass butt cap, wood button, in MOB and a Hardy "The Perfection Roach Rod" 11` 2 piece Palakona, with short tip and additional incomplete tip, good for spares, in MOB.
REELS: (2) Early 3" all brass wide drum winch with crank handle turned bone knob, raised check housing with additional check tension button to backplate, 5 pin foot, c1850 and a fine 4.5" bevel edge bronze salmon reel in the ST Lucas pattern, tapered horn handle, constant check, retains all original finish.
