A 1798 MEDALLION & A VICTORIAN CROWN. A bronze coloured finish Battle of the Nile Medallion, 48mm diameter. Described and pictured in Chris Eimers British Commemorative Medals, number 889. Left facing bust of Rear Admiral of the Red, Horatio Nelson obverse. Reverse has lines depicting the Battle, ending in Nine Ships taken and four destroyed. Also a worn Victorian 1893 dated Crown piece.
TWO CASED ROYAL MEDALLIONS. A silver 35mm diameter Investiture of the Prince of Wales 1911. Number 1925 in Christopher Eimers British Commemorative Medals Book, RM under a crown inside the case. A cased bronze Royal Mint 51mm diameter Coronation medallion, in case of R M issue. George V Crowned June 22 1911, with Queen Mary etc reverse. No 1922 in the aforementioned book. (2)
AN OFFICERS MEMORIAL PLAQUE. A circular bronze ornately decorated frame, with inset 'Widows Penny' named to Douglas Cameron Moodie. 2/Lt Moodie was serving in the 1/4th Battalion Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, when he Died of Wounds on the 15th March 1917. He is buried in Merriville Communal Cemetery, approximately 15 kms from Bethune. Son of James and Alice Moodie of 1 Blenheim Gardens, Brixton Hill, London, aged 25 yrs. Entitled to a 1914/15 Star (KOYLI), British War & Victory Medals. They were issued to his Mother at Heatherton, 61 College Road, Epsom, Surrey.

X11 Lancers, 16 Lancers, 19th PWO Hussars, 1V and the X111 Hussars etc. Essex Scottish, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, Suffolk Regt etc. (260) approximately.
A PISANELLO MEDALLION. An 8.4cm diameter medallion bearing the date 1447, by the artist Pisanello. The scene entitled Innocence and the Unicorn, is depicted on this one sided bronze medallion. Celebrating the 'Virtuous Virgin' Cecilia Gonzaga who rejecting at 19 a marriage, entered a Monastery (1445) where she died aged 25 years old, six years later. (1426-51). Virtue herself taming a Unicorn, which has the hairy body of a goat, symbolizing great knowledge.

With the obverse bearing the bust of the King & Queen facing left, LL:MM. Albert et Elisabeth legend. The reverse has Generosite-Amerique. Belgian- Gratitude legend surrounding a semi naked Liberty holding a corn sheaf, a naked man and seated woman with a baby and a USA ship in the background showing the name 'Relief' on the prow.

Urbis Gub. Die 1V Nov MDCCLXXX1. Celebrating the birth of the Dauphin in 1781, from Paris merchants hoping for stable trading and Royal leadership in difficult times. The Dauphin died in 1789 aged 8 years old.

Engraved on the reverse 'Awarded to Police Constable Harry Coles. In recognition of His humane work on behalf of animals, during 25 years service in The Metropolitan Police Force May 1916'. W.O.L (maker) and Birmingham 1911 hallmarks. A silver circular medal with 'The Animals Friend' top bar, 1000 cases of cruelty to Horses in 21 years, engraved on the suspender bar. Horses on the obverse, engraved 'Presented to P C H Coles 54XR X Divn Met Police. By a lover of Dumb Animals in recognition of the splendid services rendrd, by him on their behalf, Jan 30th 1911 and A Fenwicke designer. A 1911 GV Coronation medal,named to P. C. E Coles. A reproduction Chinese bronze bell in late Western Zhou Dynasty style with incised and cast taotie decoration, with two applied cast tigers to two sides, with Greek key decorated loop suspension ring, height 24.5cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: The tail of one of the tigers has broken off but is present.

CONDITION REPORT: The main body appears to the in good condition but sword in the left hand is missing its whole shaft and his right hand is missing four fingers and the item the hand was holding is also missing.
A Japanese Meiji period bronze incense burner/vase modelled as a cockerel, height 15cm and a bronze white metal inlaid baluster vase on tapering foot decorated with Greek key ornament, with twin mask handles (rings missing), bearing an old label to the base with character handwriting, height 22cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Cockerel has a broken leg but crudely reattached with a stud. Repair to foot rim of bronze vase. See additional images.
Charles Robert Knight (American, 1874-1953) Triceratops, 1915 signed and date 'Chas R Knight, 1915', titled and inscribed probably produced at Roman Bronze Works Inc bronze 18.5cm across. Provenance: Estate of Emma Fordyce MacRae. Charles Robert Knight was probably best known for his influential depictions of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals at the beginning of the 20th Century. He was hailed as 'one of the great popularisers of the prehistoric past', influencing a whole generation of the museum public and his work was often used to illustrate books on dinosaurs published in the first half of the 20th Century. He wrote on the Triceratops 'in spite of its formidable mien, [it] was perfectly harmless...and not aggressive for all its great horn and armored bony frill and...The spiny projections on the head...no doubt saved the peaceful, clumsy brute from early extinction.'
