Nuss, Fritz (1907 - 1999), "An der Quelle", Bronze, sign. u. dat. (19)76, Darst. einer Frau knieend m. der re. Hand das Wasser schöpfend, ca. 12,5 x 9 x 14 cm. F. Nuss war ein deutscher Bildhauer u. Medailleur. Hauptthema seiner Plastiken war der menschliche Körper. Glaubt man bei seinen frühen Werken noch den Einfluss Maillols zu erkennen, so erinnern die abstrakteren u. expressiveren Figuren der 1950er u. 1960er Jahre eher an Tendenzen bei Henry Moore. Bewegter u. weniger statisch wirken die plastischen Werke der 1970-80er Jahre.
Horstmann-Czech, Klaus (geb. 1943), "Massa I" (1980), Bronze, mehrfach monogrammiert u. dat., Guss: Belfiore, Pietrasanta, Werkverzeichnis 31, ca. 154 x 34 x 62 cm, inkl. Standfuß ca. 155 x 113 x 65 cm. Guter Zustand, kl. Kratzer. Die Bronze ist in mehreren Katalogen über Klaus Horstmann-Czech abgebildet. K. Horstmann-Czech begann eine graphische Ausbildung, die er von 1965 bis 1968 in Berlin fortsetzte. Bis 1969 leitete Horstmann-Czech die Moderne Galerie u. war Mitgründer der Berliner Kunstmesse. 1974 ging er zur Ausbildung an die Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia nach Perugia in Italien. 1975 kehrte er zurück nach Berlin u. studierte bei Bernhard Heiliger an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin bis 1978. Anschließend war Horstmann-Czech von 1979 bis 1984 Dozent an der Freien Universität Berlin. Horstmann-Czech erhielt den Kunstpreis der Stadt Salzburg. Seine Arbeiten sind vornehmlich aus Stahl, Bronze und Marmor, oft in Materialkombinationen geschaffen. Horstmann-Czech nahm an verschiedenen Bildhauersymposien in Italien teil. Klaus Horstmann-Czech lebte und arbeitete von 1985 bis 2016 in der Villa Braunbehrens auf dem Heidelberger Kohlhof und in Marina di Carrara in Italien.
19th C bronze rounded rectangular twin handled Koro and cover, cast and pierced with a mountain,and waterfall, the finial as a standing immortal cast with panels of figures in a boat and other figures by a bridge, applied with handles on four shishi feet. 13" High The man finial to the lid is damaged to one leg and been glued years ago, peg holes for him to stand in are in place, glued incorrectly from the legs., the lid in good condition and slips off under tghe ho ho birds. the body of the Koro is in very good original condition only having a loss to the tail of one of the Ho ho birds, no debts and all Kylin legs firmly attached.
19th C Japanese sectional bronze group of Handaka-Sonja seated on rocks with dragon below, highly ornate and inlaid. 15" High All three pieces are in good original condition, wear to the gilding to each piece which will clean up, fine detailing all pieces free of damage, missing an item which was being held in his left hand. the base has all four feet firmly attached by peg, a few wobble but firmly attached.

Contemporary School, a bronze group of a nursing mother and her infant, she portrayed as seated, looking down at the baby in her arms; loosely modelled and cast, 15.5cm high; and a pair of patinated bronze reliefs cast as infants' heads, loosely in the manner of examples by Jean-Antoine Houdon, (1741 - 1828), late 19th / early 20th century, one portrayed as smiling, the other crying, each on a stepped square section base, 7cm high, 12cm wide (3) Condition Report: The first apparently unsigned- seems generally good condition- if a little dirty. A Red Bronze Japanese Vase of tapering ovoid form rising to a narrow neck with squared rim, decorated with a silver and gold inlaid egret in flight above flowering water weeds, with incised and silvered seal to the reverse, height 39cms, Meiji Period; and a Japanese Bronze Vase, of bulbous form on a splayed foot and rising to a hexagonal section neck with everted mouth, decorated in relief beneath a heavy, matte patina, height 41.5cms, Meiji Period (2) Condition Report: First is completely chemically stripped of all patination. A French or Italian patinated bronze four light candelabrum in Pompeian Revival taste, circa 1875 and later adapted, with three foliate sockets and a tapered, reeded stem, rising from a triform base cast with leaves and a salamander, 50cm high overall; and a Louis Philippe gilt and patinated bronze table oil lamp base, circa 1830 and later adapted for electricity, the tapered reeded shaft terminating in an acanthus cast baluster, 41cm high (2) Condition Report: The first with loose screws- will need attention to make more usable- both adapted for electricity- drilled holes. Athletics Fatima Whitbread signed 6x5 black and white magazine photo. Fatima Whitbread MBE (born 3 March 1961) is a female British former javelin thrower. She won the 1986 European Championships in Stuttgart, having broken the world record with a throw of 77. 44 metres in the qualifying round the previous day. She went on to win the 1987 World Championships in Rome. She is also a two-time Olympic medallist, winning bronze at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and silver at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
