RARE COPELAND PARIAN FIGURE of Marguerite, with a bronze effect glaze. Designed by Sarah Terry for Copeland. Marked, Copeland, S Terry Sc, 1868. 19 3/4ins (50cms) high *Marguerite was a companion figure for Evangeline. Sarah Terry was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy and other institutions between 1862-1879. The bronze effect glaze appears to be very unusual.
