A Cambodian cast bronze princes head, possibly from a temple. H. 27 cm CONDITION REPORT: Generally good. Colour possibly applied, estimated weight 3-4 lbs, thickness varying approximately 5 mm at neck. Estimated age late 20th century. Provenance private seller, General impression of quality average. We have notice that the bronze has been catalogued as female and should be male
A pair of late 19th century bronze and slate desk weights modelled as classical style rotundas housing busts of young women, with cast decorative finials, height 22cm (one af) (2). CONDITION REPORT: One urn has a bent finial and chips to the upper part, the bronze cover on the top is detached. The other has very minor chips, a couple of larger chips to the base.
After PAUL PHILIPPE; a c.1920s patinated bronze figure of a naked woman stretching, signed "P Philippe" to the green marble base with inset gilt Goldscheider foundry seal plaque to the underneath, 37cm. CONDITION REPORT: The patine is rubbed to some areas, there are some minor dints probably moulding imperfections, the figure is attached to the base but slightly wobbly, the base itself has several but small chips to some of the edges.
After HERMANN EICHBERG (German); two early 20th century nickel silvered bronze figures on circular marble bases, one depicting "Blind Justice" (lacking scales), height 27cm, the other depicting "Glory" (af), both figures bearing signature to bases "Eichberg 90" (af) (2). CONDITION REPORT: Blind Justice: sword is bent, some losses to the handle and lacking scales. Glory: badly dented where the right ankle is so it is unbalanced. Both bases have some chips and scratches commensurate with age.
An interesting and comprehensive archive of medals, paraphernalia and ephemera relating to stoker John Lonnon, including three WWI medals comprising the Victory Medal, War Medal, and 1914 Star, a bronze remembrance plaque in card sleeve, a 1914 Queen Mary Christmas tin containing the cigarettes, tobacco, card and photograph of Queen Mary, his shaving and grooming kit, a certificate detailing his death, being killed in action near the Dardanelles on the 3rd May 1915 when serving with the Nelson Battalion, First Royal Naval Brigade, a certificate of service, an H.M.S. Exmouth naval cap band, a section of rope, two further certificates, and a rolled note relating to his death, the medals inscribed "SS. 108431 J.Lonnon. Sto. I.R.N.", also included in the lot is a hand tinted photograph of Lonnon, and an unusual 1914 Star inscribed "For Brutality".
Charles "Charlie" Turner, Irish Football History; a group of rare memorabilia comprising an emerald green and gold thread embroidered felt cap awarded to Charlie Turner for games against Czechoslovakia and Poland in 1938, a bronze rectangular plaque for the Poland game, a rectangular bronze plaque for a game vs France in 1937, and a small bronze circular medallion for a game vs Hungary in 1939. Charlie Turner played for Southend and West Ham and represented Ireland ten times including appearances as captain. He was a defender and perhaps his greatest moment as a player came on 23rd May 1937 when in Colombes, the Irish recorded a 2-0 victory against France for which the bronze medallion was awarded. He had less success on the Czechoslovakian and Polish tour, drawing 2-2 on 18th May 1938 before losing 6-0 against Poland a week later on 25th May. The circular medallion was presented for a friendly held in Cork on 19th March 1939 when he made his last appearance for his country in a 2-2 draw against Hungary. The collection belongs to Charlie Turner's family and was given to them directly by Charlie.

A GOOD 17TH/18TH CENTURY CHINESE SILVER-INLAID SHISOU BRONZE CENSER, weighing 355gm, the sides with inlaid archaic decoration of taotie masks within scroll and key-fret borders, the sides with double stylised handles that include a wan symbol, the whole with good unpolished patination, 5.2in wide including handles & 3.4in diameter at rim & 2.3in high.
A GOOD QUALITY CHINESE CLOISONNE & GILT BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER & COVER, circa 1900, the sides decorated with a formal design of scroll and leaf-stemmed lotus, the pierced cover with the ‘Three Friends’ beneath a ruyi decorated finial, the sides with double buddhistic lion-head handles, 5.7in high overall.
