The flared foot and the central part decorated in engraving each with a taotie mask, the high neck undecorated. In the bottom seal inscription. Paper label printed: Collezione Prodan Roma, handwritten added "Chou middle SWX". H 30,8 cm. Provenance Mario Prodan, Rome, art dealer in Beijing and Shanghai in the 1930s to 1946; private collection, southern Germany, since then in family possession.
