Large Chinese three-piece gilt bronze Guanyin. Late Ming/ early to mid Qing dynasty. Seated in double lotus position (dhyanasana) with the left hand held in dhyana mudra and the right in karana mudra. Wearing a long flowing robe and dhoti bordered with stylized flowers with the chest open draped with an elaborate necklace with hardstone inlay. Face has peaceful expression with downcast eyes flanked by elongated ear lobes. Wearing a crown with inlay and Amitabha Buddha in the center. Seated on separate lotus throne resting on a wave stand enclosed by a hexagonal balustrade. Overall Approximately: 32" x 14 1/2" x 11 1/2". Shipping: This lot does not qualify for in house shipping.
