A Pair of Fabulous Bronze Doré & Malachite Guéridons. The round Malachite tops edged in gilt beading and measuring 9½ ins (24 cms) in diameter raised on three swept supports leading down to the hairy paw feet and surmounted by figures of infant Nereides wreathed in fruiting vines and having entwined scaly tails. The supports united by scrolling dolphins centred with a finialed hexagonal mount, 33 ins (84 cms) in height.
A 19th Century Vitrine in the Louis XV Style. The diagonally grained kingwood veneers inlaid with shaped bands of marquetry foliage. The cabinet door having a serpentine glazed front above a bombe shaped Vernis Martin panel painted with a romantic scene and edged in scrolling gilt metal beading. The shaped top surmounted by a Rococo crest with decorative gilt bronze mounts to the pilasters and heading the square cabriole legs. The interior fitted with glass display shelves, 40 ins (102 cms) in width, 75 ins(190 cms) in height.
A Fine Rosewood Open Standing Bookcase of tall, slender proportions, circa 1820. The vert maurin marble top with breakfront sides above open scroll brackets adorned with gilt bronze caryatid mounts. The frieze centred by a panel with gilt bronze embellishment and beaded edging. The case housing five adjustable shelves flanked by breakfront pilasters leading down to the carved hairy paw feet, 26 ins (66 cms) wide, 56 ins (142 cms) tall and 9 ins (23 cms) deep.
A Gothic Revival gilt, silvered and enamelled bronze casket, possibly designed by A.W.N. Pugin after a 15th century original , mid 19th century the hinged lockplates revealing a dark blue velvet lined interior 24cm. high by 25cm. wide A 15th century casket of a similar design belonged to A.W.N. Pugin, and is now in the collection of the V&A Museum, London. It is possible that the present lot is a variation of this casket and originally ordered by Pugin. A closely related example, without the enamelling found on the current example, sold Christie's Amsterdam, 4th June 2002 lot 303.

A Royal Worcester oviform vase and a cover. 20TH CENTURY, PRINTED BLACK MARKS, SHAPE 2713. With simulated-bronze key-pattern handles issuing a garland of husks, painted by Harry Ayrton with apples and grapes reserved on a leafy autumnal ground, signed, the reverse with a sprig of cherries, with richly-gilt socle and tooled footrim (finial restored). 10 3/8 in. (16.3 cm.) high (2).
