Anton Hiller1893 München - 1985 ebendaSitzende weibliche FigurAuf der Plinthe signiert. Bronze. 20 x 16 x 11 cm. Anton Hiller gehört neben Heinrich Kirchner, Ludwig Kasper, Fritz Wrampe und Toni Stadler zu einem der wichtigsten Vertreter der Münchner Bildhauerschule des späten 20. Jahrhunderts. Sein persönlicher Fokus lag auf Akt- und Tierdarstellungen, allerdings weniger in der reinen Abbildung, als vielmehr in der Manifestation ihrer Urform. Auf der Suche nach der reinen Ursprungsform der weiblichen Figur zeigt die vorliegende Skulptur einen geometrischen Körper. Der 1893 geborene Künstler studierte an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste. Seit 1923 war er als freischaffender Bildhauer in München tätig. 1985 verstarb Hiller in München. Provenienz: Privatsammlung Süddeutschland
