A French (Samuel Marti) striking brass eight day mantle clock, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and two winding holes, the mechanism stamped medaille de Bronze, S. Marti & C/ 411, with dual mercury pendulum and gong, within bevelled glass case, with keys, 24.5 cm high Condition Report: Clocks and watches are sold untested for time keeeping accuracy. This clock ticks and runs when wound and it strikes. The white enamelled dial is cracked between 11-12 o'clock and 6-7 o'clock. The minute hand is bent. The brass case is scratched and has some wear overall. Both doors are quite stiff and the rear door needs some attention.

"Balancierender Knabe". Dunkelbraun patinierte Bronze eines auf einer Kugel/einem Ball balancierenden nackten Knaben, in voller Bewegung. Auf der Kugel signiert "J. Götz fec. (it) Berlin" = Johannes Götz (Fürth 1865 - 1934 Berlin), war ein deutscher Bildhauer, ging nach Besuch der Nürnberger Kunstgewerbeschule 1884 nach Berlin, wurde Schüler von Reinhold Begas, kehrte nach zweijährigem Studienaufenthalt in Rom nach Berlin zurück, galt als einer der meistbeschäftigten Bildhauer, erhielt zahlreiche Aufträge von Kaiser Wilhelm II. Gesamthöhe ca. 52 cm, Sockel ca. 2 cm.
