This mixed media matte painting depicting C-3PO in Auguste Rodin's "The Thinker" pose is signed by Carter in black ink. Also included is the #288 trading card with a gold-colour 10 Day Production stamp on the front. Before joining the Resistance, Finn (John Boyega) was a stormtrooper with the designation FN-2187. A dying stormtrooper wiped blood across Finn's helmet during their raid on a village on the planet Jakku.Propshop, the industry prop and set decoration fabricator that created many props for The Force Awakens, released only 500 made-to-order, 3D-printed replicas of the FN-2187 helmet in partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm. This helmet is number 49/500.Made from original 3D scan data from the production to ensure accuracy, this black-and-white helmet is constructed of a range of proprietary synthetic materials, and features detailed distressing as well as the red bloodied finger-swipes across the face. SURROGATES (2009) - Robot Skull and Military-unit FaceA robot skull and military-unit face from Jonathan Mostow's sci-fi action film Surrogates. Cop John Greer (Bruce Willis) encountered military "surrogate" robots at a military base, and robot heads in the surrogate lab.The robot head is hand-painted in metallic silver and bronze colours, with circuit-board detailing and realistic white teeth and pink gums. The mask is painted in a pink skin-like tone and has felt nose padding adhered to the interior. Both pieces are made of fibreglass and display paint wear from production use. A layer of fibreglass has chipped away at the back of the head, and several hairline cracks and small chips are present on the mask. INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996) - 48-inch Alien Attacker Spaceship Model MiniatureA 48-inch (122 cm) model miniature alien Attacker from Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. Attackers, the primary fighter craft of the alien Harvesters, were deployed from the larger City Destroyer and Mothership spaceships. Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith) took one attacker down and captured its pilot during the first battle.The highest-grossing film of 1996 and, at the time, the second-highest-grossing film ever made, Independence Day redefined the Hollywood blockbuster. It was nominated for two Academy Awards®, winning the award for Best Visual Effects. During production, two scales of model were crafted, with this being a larger scale model. Larger scale models of this style were used for the crash sequence as well as in the Area 51 model miniature set. Constructed from fibreglass, resin, and other multimedia, this spaceship features an intricate, multifaceted biomechanical technology-inspired design all over its chassis. It is painted in shades of metallic grey, green, and blue with bronze-colour detailing and a black plastic cockpit panel on the front. A metal suspension point is visible on the reverse for use during filming and features various holes throughout for other suspension points. LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER: THE CRADLE OF LIFE (2003) - Lara Croft's (Angelina Jolie) Tiger JacketLara Croft's (Angelina Jolie) jacket from Jan de Bont's action-adventure sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. Croft wore her jacket during the scenes in China where, with the assistance of Terry Sheridan (Gerard Butler), she infiltrated Chen Lo's (Simon Yam) lair.Made from gold-coloured satin, this full-zip jacket features an embroidered tiger motif across the back, with matching Chinese dragons on either breast panel, and two pockets at the front. It is lined with bronze-coloured satin, with matching piping along the jacket seams, and has a beige ribbed collar, waistband and cuffs. The interior is lined with quilted red satin and displays a label reading "AJ Clean", indicating that the jacket was used before the fight sequences during this part of the film. There are evident signs of production use, including a stain on the outside of the waistband at the back. It features engraved Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and triangular arms extending out from its central section. There is a metal loop at the top where the key would have attached to a necklace chain. One of the eight arms has broken off, and there is evidence of previously repaired splits on two other arms. It is hand-painted grey and bronze-colour to resemble a small metal figure with two heavyweight enlarged testicles dangling from a metal wire beneath the penis and a screw for mounting to a door embedded in the back. TROY (2004) - Achilles' (Brad Pitt) Stunt SwordAchilles' (Brad Pitt) sword from Wolfgang Petersen's mythical epic Troy. Achilles wielded his sword throughout the film, using it to brutal effect during his efficient despatch of Boagrius (Nathan Jones) in the opening scene, as well as in his battles against the Trojan Apollonians, and the vicious duel with Hector (Eric Bana).Made of hard rubber with an internal metal armature, the sword consists of a curved leaf-shaped blade finished in faux-gold paint to replicate worked bronze. A raised ridge runs down the length of the blade, and multiple curved inlays decorate the weapon. Finished in black paint, the angular ornate grip features multiple holes, creating the illusion of rivets. Green paint has been added to create the appearance of verdigris. The weapon displays paint wear, scratching on the blade and bending to the tip. No Remorse was the band's final album for Bronze Records and consisted of 24 tracks, including four new songs. It was also the first to feature Motörhead's new line-up - Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel, and Pete Gill. The previous owner initially purchased this vinyl set at the Barcelona record fair in 1996. The two 12" LPs come in a leather sleeve featuring the album artwork in silver-colour on the front, and the inner paper sleeve for Record Two is autographed in silver- and gold-colour ink by all four band members. It exhibits creasing and edge wear on the sleeves, and the stitching on the leather has begun to fray. During the film's final sequence, Riddick initiated a battle with the Lord Marshal (Colm Feore) by throwing a knife directly at his head. This rubber knife was made to show the weapon flying through the air, an effect achieved by threading a thin fishing wire through a tiny hole in its handle. The knife is painted to resemble bronze, and is covered in ornate engravings and patterns. It shows some paint wear from production use. The city guards wore their helmets while patrolling Joppa, home of Queen Cassiopeia (Siân Phillips) and Princess Andromeda (Judi Bowker). Constructed from fibreglass and finished in bronze-coloured paint, the helmet features geometric face detailing with a nose, raised eyebrows, and floral designs above the ears. A wide crest is located at the top, and black leather straps are tied to each side. Foam padding is adhered within, and there are signs of chipping present on the helmet's exterior. Iffland, Franz. Schmied. Bronze, dunkel patiniert, auf Marmorsockel montiert. In der Plinthe signiert und mit Gießerstempel der Bildgießerei Kraas. Nach 1900. Maße: 37 x 19 x 12 cm. Mit Sockel: 45 x 20 x 14 cm.Stehender Schmied mit wehender Schmiedeschürze und Hammer in beiden Händen, realistisch und fein ausgearbeitet von Franz Iffland (1862-1933), der u.a. in der Großen Berliner Kunstausstellung 1893 mit Werken vertreten war. - Vereinzelt etwas Grünspan und minimale Bereibungen der Patina.

Kriester, Rainer. Ohne Titel. (Kleiner verletzter Kopf.) Dunkel patinierte Bronze. Mit Künstlerstempel und Bezeichnung "E.A." auf der Rückseite. 1980. Maße: 12,5 x 8,5 x 11 cm.Eine weitaus größere und etwas variierende Version des "Verletzten Kopfes" findet sich auf dem Trammplatz in Hannover, die Rainer Kriester (1935-2002) 1981 schuf. Die Plastik schaut direkt auf das Kestnermuseum. Großer und kleiner Kopf strahlen durch die sie umfassenden Hände sowohl eine Verletzlichkeit als auch eine hermetische Stärke aus. - Patina partiell minimal berieben, insgesamt etwas angestaubt.

Poertzel, Otto. Ohne Titel. (Fasan). Dunkel patinierte Bronze auf schwarzem Marmorsockel. Signiert "Prof. Poertzel" in der Bronzeplinthe. Wohl Anfang/Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Maße mit Sockel: 24 x 28 x 11 cm.Etwas angestaubt und partiell minimal berieben.

Lot 2050

Schwerdtfeger, Kurt. Widder. Bronze, braun patiniert. Maße: 15 x 13 x 6 cm.Kurt Schwerdtfeger (1897-1966) studierte von 1920 bis 1924 am Bauhaus Weimar unter Johannes Itten und Oskar Schlemmer. 1921 entwickelte er dort seine "Reektorischen Farbspiele", "eine Sensation für die künstlerische Jugend" (Lothar Schreyer), die auch in Waldens Sturm-Galerie ausgestellt wurde. Nachdem er seinem Lehrer Itten zunächst nach Berlin gefolgt war und dort als freier Künstler arbeitete, wurde er als Leiter der Bildhauerklasse an die Werkkunstschule Stettin berufen. Schwerdtfeger war Mitglied des Deutschen Werkbundes. 1937 wurde er aus dem Lehramt entlassen, seine Arbeiten als "entartet" diffamiert und aus den Museen entfernt. - Die hübsche Skuplptur war ein Geschenk für seine Lieblingsnichte Ingeborg, deren Tierkreiszeichen der Widder war. - Sehr guter Zustand. - Dabei: Derselbe. Widder. Lithographie auf Velin. Signiert mit Bleistift unten rechts sowie unten links betitelt. Motivmaße: 36 x 45 cm. Blattmaße: 43,5 x 61 cm. - Gebräunt, Ecken mit Nadellöchern, kleinen Ausrissen und Klebebandspuren. - Beide Arbeiten aus dem Nachlass der Familie des Künstlers.

Sihle-Wissel, Manfred. Pferd. Braun patinierte Bronze, auf Marmorsockel montiert. Monogrammiert und datiert "M WI 1966" auf der Plinthe sowie mit dem Gießerstempel "Guss Schmäke Düsseldorf". Maße: 24 x 28 x 10 cm. Höhe mit Marmorsockel: 29 cm.Der Marmorsockel mit gravierter Plakette "Grosser Preis der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg 1968". - Die zwischen Naturalismus und kubischer Formensprache oszillierende Plastik von Manfred Sihle-Wissel (geb. 1934) wurde 1968 als Preis an den Sieger des Galopprennens in Hamburg-Horn verliehen. - Eine Ecke des Marmorsockels bestoßen, Plakette stärker berieben, die Plastik in sehr gutem Zustand.

Messing (2 Platten, Walze mit Stempel, 2 intakte Spindeln, mit Tragekordel unter gepunzter Öse, daran Haken und winziger Bleistift. Ca. 7 x 5 x 5 cm, Gewicht 110 g. - Zwischen den Platten goldgedrucktes Tanzprogramm für "Kaufmann's Casino Ball" im Wiener "Hôtel zu den Vier Jahreszeiten", 27.I.1901. 10 Bl., davon 5 für Einträge leer belassen. 6 x 4,5 cm. Rotes Original-Halbmaroquin-Bändchen mit marmorierten Deckeln und Deckelschildchen (kleine Schabspuren).Sehr ungewöhnliche Ballspende von kühler technischer Anmutung, laut Eindruck im Innendeckel durch Hoflieferant August Klein am Wiener Graben hergestellt. Klein, ursprünglich Buchbinder (1824-90), kam 1840 von Nürnberg nach Wien und verschaffte sich ab 1847 als Großfabrikant von Leder-, Bronze- und Holzgalanterien internationalen Ruf. Er exportierte nach Frankreich, England und Amerika, galt als richtungsweisend in Modefragen und wurde 1881 geadelt. Die Firma bestand offensichtlich über seinen Tod hinaus. - Radierspuren im Tanzprogramm, die Platten der Presse etwas verkratzt, Spindeln leicht ausgebogen, eines der vier Spindelgriffchen fehlt. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltenes Unikum.
