Provenance: Purchased by the vendor and her late husband directly from the artist in his St. Ives studio on June 28th 1985. The accompanying photograph shows the artist on that day. Exhibited: Swansea, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and Museum, Festival Exhibition of Sculpture by Denis Mitchell, 6th October-3rd November 1979, cat. no.31, illustrated (another cast shown).
