Single owner collection of World War I and later memorabilia comprising World War I Casualty Group to Private John Johnson 12713 of the South Lancashire Regiment being 1914-18 medal, 1914-15 Star, War for Civilisation medal and Bronze Death Plaque, Private Johnson was killed on the 22nd July 1916 and his memorial is at Thiepval Memorial, also another Casualty medal awarded to Private James Kilroe 19372 of the South Lancashire Regiment, Private Kilroe was killed on the 29th May 1916 and his memorial is in the Ecoivres Military Cemetery, Mont-St.Eloi, also in this lot are nine War of Civilisation medals mostly to member of the South Lancashire Regiment, a 1914-15 Star awarded to Corporal J. Boydell of the South Lancashire Regiment, two 1914-18 medals and a large quantity of badges and other medals etc all contained in an oak box (illustrated)

A RUDGE BRADSHAW SPECIAL MOTORCYCLE, pre World War II rigid framed special, 350 cc sports model engine, with overhead valves, outside flywheel with quick withdraw attachment, roller bearing connecting rod, stream lined cylinder head with polished valve ports high lift camshaft, inclined push rods with tappet return springs, phosphor bronze rocker unit, large oil pump giving increased oil capacity and therefore more efficient cooling, direct coupling for the magneto negating the need for magneto driving chains and sprockets.
