Pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel candlestick stands, Qianlong (1735-1796), each with four character seal mark to base, the waisted bell-shaped base above baluster stem and cup-shaped stand, decorated with lotus and scrolling foliage and flowerhead, on a turquoise ground, 16cm high (2) Condition Report One has signs of old restoration and in-filling around the stem in two place, the other has losses to the cloisonne in a similar area of stem and to the underside of the cup-shaped top, with some cracking, re-gilding and old in-filling. It is possible that they have both been repaired through the stem. Both examples have some cracking and minor losses to enamel at footrim, both have some typical pitting and surface wear overall, both have some rubbing to gilt bronze tops and bases and one base is slightly misshapen. A blue 'Odyssey' desk by Linley, of recent manufacture, the curved top set with a navy leather surface, above two pedestals, each fitted with four graduated drawers set with bronze handles, 190cm wide100cm deep75.5cm highProvenance: A private collection, OxfordshireCondition ReportOverall the desk is in fair cosmetic condition but there is a noticeable area of damage with one deep scratch and other scuffs to the inside of the right-hand pedestal (see additional photos). Both power socket covers present. Some drawers a little stiff. A few other small cracks/scratches to the finish including a couple of the drawer fronts. A few small scratches, dents and abrasions to the leather top. Surface scratches to the top but no deep indents. Small area of what appears to be fading to the right-hand side of the leather. No key. Splits into four pieces - 2 x pedestals, central drawer and top.

One handle slightly loose. Some nibbles to the edges of the marble and stone base. Apparently two small losses to the gilt vines around urn's stem.
