Yabu Meizan, finely painted conical ewer and cover, elaborately decorated with multiple figures of Bijin, children and scholars in palace and garden settings, intricate diaper borders to the base and neck, the loop handles with decorative bands, signed, 22cm, Meiji CONDITION REPORT: Lid appears to be in good condition, but inner rim has crack and slightly distorted area c2cm longBase appears in good condition, but has a bash at one pointed end, two or three dents at edge of the body. One leg on short side is slightly pushed to the side and consequently the bronze is slightly wobbly resting on three legs only.

19th century Chinese censer with lion mask handles and relief tri gram symbols for Heaven and Earth, bronze pierced stand CONDITION REPORT: Base appears alright.Censer has an insert repair to rim, around 2cm x 8mm. Pitting to surface. Has been slightly squashed and rim is oval shaped, bash to side by tri-gram around 2cm square, slight bash by other side tri-gram, small damage or mis-casting to bottom rim. Some cleaner residue visible.

Chinese bronze censer with pierced domed lid, finely cast to the body with Shou symbols stylised dragons, chi/lung loop handles and raised on cloud decorated tripod supports, the lid pierced with good luck symbols, dragon and chi lung finial, Xuande mark to base, 22cm wide, 19cm high CONDITION REPORT: Lid is slightly mis-shapen but appears in good condition. Body - surface scratches. One dent to base around 2mm x 3cm. Another smaller just below head of dragon handle around 2mm x 8mm. Two or three deeper scratches to base. The base is strengthened (?) inside with thicker layer of bronze. There is also a dent to side of one foot (?) repaired/strenghthened here. No apparent missing pieces. 2245g

*Bains 'International TT' Bicycle. Dating circa 1948, and finished in bronze enamel, with a 23-inch frame. This bicycle features Lauterwasser style steel handlebars and a GB stem, Campagnolo gear levers with Campagnolo Gran Sport gearing, and Chater Lea crank-set and pedals, with GB Hideminium brakes, Mavic hubs and rims and an 'Ideal' saddle. An older restoration by Argos of Bristol. (1)

*A Joseph Devey & Co., 'Special Express' 54-inch Ordinary. A Wolverhampton-built bicycle in good, original condition, comprising a single-leaf spring supporting a pan saddle with an original leather cover, 26-inch straight handlebars with turned bone grips and a spoon-brake operated by lever, also retaining its turned bone handle. Fitted with an adjustable mounting step, 16-inch trailing wheel, Rudge-patented front bearings, and bronze hubs back and front. With signs of original tyring in the 7/8th-inch D-section rims, new and unused tyring is offered with its sale. Just visible is an acid-etched cartouche announcing the maker's name and model. (1)
