An Early 19th Century Gilt Bronze and Crimson Velvet-Backed Oval Badge, centrally with a depiction of St. Andrew superimposed on a saltire, the frame bearing the motto, ''Nemo Me Impune Lacessit'', the cast suspension loop flanked by thistles, the badge 11.5 cm high, 15.5 cm overall Note: The iconography suggests that this was the badge of a Scottish Society or Order but we have been unable to trace the designSlight wear to gilding. Slight wear to pile of velvet. Generally good overall.
