WW2 Royal Engineers Airborne Officers Service Dress Tunic, four pocket officers service dress tunic with Gaunt London Royal Engineers officers tunic buttons. To the arms are 6th Airborne division embroidered Pegasus formation signs and one arm has an embroidered parachute qualified jump wing. Bronze officers collar badges and brass rank pips for Captain to the shoulders. Complete with cord and officers whistle. Officers lined interior with tailors label for Burton. Complete with officers Sam Browne belt and cross strap. Some moth damage to the tunic.
A pair of 20th century Chinese gilt-bronze lion dogs on plinth bases. Each cast with scrolling mane, wearing bell collars, seated on their haunches, on rectangular base cast with scrollwork, L13cm x H18cm Condition Report: Overall in good condition. Some scratches and wear consistent with age and usage. Some rusting to the exposed metal. Several casting flaws such as slight dents. Lion dogs are not attached to the bases. No apparent restoration or alterations.
