Japanese Export cast bronze baluster form jardinière with bamboo ring handle and panels of three toed dragons amidst waves and clouds beneath two Ho-Ho birds in flight. Four character foundry mark to the base. 29cm diameter approx. 26cm high approx. Together with a Victorian cast iron teapot. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Jardinière, missing one of its bamboo simulated ring handles, otherwise apart from usual wear and tear appearing in decent condition overall.

A pair of 1930s Art Deco bronze figural table lamps, each modelled with two dancers, one holding a marbled glass globe aloft, raised on onyx bases, wired for electricity, 52cms high.Notes: with Haig Fund presentation inscription. The Earl Haig Fund being a charity set up in 1921 by Field Marshall Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig, to raise funds for ex-servicemen. Anna Guérin - who produced and sold silk poppies for disabled ex-servicemen - convinced Earl Haig to use the bloom as its symbol. This continued until 1994 when the name "Poppy Appeal" was adopted.
