Note: William Johnson and Samuel Grimalde are recorded as working together at 431 Strand, London between 1809 and 1825. William Johnson is later recorded to have worked at 50 Strand, London from 1825 to 1842, indicating their partnership was dissolved in 1825.
A George III and later gilt metal and bronze desk timepiece, the chain fusee movement with verge escapement and scroll pierced and engraved balance cock, the circular enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals and inscribed `Joseph Blundy`, the later bronze stand in the form of a horse with gilt saddle cloth, on an oak plinth, height approx 34.5cm (alterations).

The case overall chased with foliate designs, the whole raised upon moulded base and four bracket feet, 15cm high.
A large late 19th/early 20th century French bronze bird cage, surmounted with a gilded pineapple finial above a domed top and scrolling trellis work, of octagonal form with a single door, above eight dummy drawers, raised on bronze base with cabriole legs terminating with lion paw feet, 217 cm high x 75 cm wide x 75 cm deep.
