A WWI First World War medal group trio and memorial plaque to one 18343 Private Thomas James Carter of the Grenadier Guards, killed in action 9/10/17 (possibly on the first day of the Battle of Poelcappelle). Comprising; his 1914-15 Star, War Medal and Victory Medal. All with original ribbons. Along with the bronze Death Penny / Memorial Plaque 'Thomas James Carter' which retains its original box and letter from The King. The collection also retains his original dog tag and 'Soldier's Small Book'. Carter was born in Fleetwood, Lancashire. With some later printed history / research. Poignant medal group.

Comprising War and Victor medals, both with ribbons and impressed to edge ' L7661 F. G. Chamberlain OS3 RN '. Along with the official miniatures, along with a National School Sailing Associated silver hallmarked enamel fob medal for 'Half Mile' 1913, and similar bronze medal for 1912. Consigned from the family.

A Chinese Wucai Porcelain Sleeve Vase, mid 17th century, painted in famille verte enamels with ducks and geese amongst rockwork and foliage, 38.5cm high, with matched carved and pierced hardwood stand. Typical minor surface wear. Small area of upper rim lacking bronze pigment and glaze, possibly firing fault. One vertical glaze crack in the body. No restoration.

A Japanese Cloisonné Miniature Teapot and Cover, Meiji period, of pear shape, decorated with butterflies amongst foliage on a blue ground within formal borders, 10cm high; A Similar Smaller Teapot and Cover, of ovoid form, decorated with circular panels on a blue ground, 4.5cm high; and A Bronze Miniature Teapot, of gourd form with figural handle, 6cm high (3) Provenance: The Countess Peel Collection, thence by descent to present owner. Pear formed pot in excellent condition, no makers mark Second with chips to underside of the finial near the bolt to the underside of the cover, also chips around the handle terminals. Bronze pot possibly missing stopper.

The group has been re painted. ,Banjo detached from figure but retained. Wear to surface decoration. Some typical minor losses to whiskers.
