A good Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of Green Tara, 16th century, the female Bodhisattva seated in lalitasana with right foot resting on a lotus flower issuing from a double lotus base, her right hand lowered in varada mudra and her left raised in prithvi mudra, holding two lotus stems flowering at her shoulders, adorned with jewellery inset with turquoise and wearing a tiara enclosing a high chignon,the base open, 17cm.high. Chinese bronze libation vessel of ancient form, on three pronged feet, 19cm high and another smaller, 7cm high (2). Provenance: Purchased by the vendor in China in the 1960s CONDITION REPORT Larger vessel, split above the handle runs to the rim. Another split, possibly with ancient repair runs from end of spout. Further wear deterioration consummate with age. Smaller vessel appears to have a plugged small hole to one side. Both with good patination

Good quality late 19th century French bronze stationery cabinet with ornate floral scroll cresting, fall-flap decorated with profile bust of King Louis XIV, enclosing velvet-lined stationery divisions, on claw feet, 38cm high x 32cm wide CONDITION REPORT Very nice overall patination. Purple velvet lined interior is original but quite worn. Lower bronze frieze is slightly buckled in two places - lower left of centre and to right hand side. Fall front very slightly buckled centrally - not visible when closed. Generally good original condition
