CHINESE METAL WARES. A 19th century Chinese bronze ink holder, two pieces of Chinese pewter ware & a small European pewter teapot. CONDITION REPORTS: 1. The bronze ink-holder is in good original condition. There is no damage. 2. The shaped metal dish has lost most of it's black surface, apart from the base, so appears rubbed. The decoration is crisp throughout and there is no damage. 3. The pewter box is undamaged, although the corners of the lid have been knocked, so are no longer truly 'sharp'. The base has tall, very deep sides, over which the lid slips, and these sides have been slightly knocked and distorted. There are no splits or repairs. 4. The pewter teapot has a bent spout, a slightly up-curving lid and a glued repair to the wooden handle.
