After Milo, Miguel Fernando Lopez, a bronze and gilt life size statue of a lady, with both arms raised holding a bowl aloft, on a marble pedestal base197cm high overallCondition report: Overall condition is ok. They are not wired for electricity. The bases come into three sections so can be easily moved. The bronze requires two strong people to lift as it is heavy and large.
A Chinese Wucai Porcelain Sleeve Vase, mid 17th century, painted in famille verte enamels with ducks and geese amongst rockwork and foliage, 38.5cm high, with matched carved and pierced hardwood stand See illustration. Typical minor surface wear. Small area of upper rim lacking bronze pigment and glaze, possibly firing fault. One vertical glaze crack in the body. No restoration.

After the Antique: A Bronze Figure of the Borghese Gladiator, on a rectangular marble plinth, 29cm high See illustration The Borghese Gladiator is a full-size marble figure of a swordsman made at Ephesus around 100BC. It was rediscovered early in the 17th century on the site of Nero's palace at Anzio. After its arrival the Villa Borghese in Rome it became one of the most admired images of classical sculpture. It became one of the most copied works of antiquity in the 18th and 19th centuries. Some typical wear to surface patination. Chip to one corner of plinth.
After the Antique: A Bronze Figure of a Dancing Faun, on a canted square base and marble plinth, 39cm high See illustration The Dancing Faun is a Hellenistic marble first recorded in 1665, when Albert Rubens listed it as in the collection of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, though having been restored in the 16th century it is likely to have been in their possession for some time. By 1688 the sculpture was in the Tribuna of the Uffizi and there gained the reputation as one of the finest ancient sculptures in existence. The model became popular with Grand Tourists and versions were produced by Massimiliano Soldani-Benzi (1656-1714) and Pietro Cipriani (circa 1680-before 1745) as well as porcelain examples made at the nearby Doccia factory. Its popularity continued throughout the 19th century and continues today. . Some typical minor wear and scratching.
Etienne-Henri Dumaige (1830-1888): ''Avant de Combat Volontaire de 1792'' and ''Apres de Combat Grenaider de 1792'', a pair of bronze figures of French Revolutionary soldiers, on rectangular bases, signed H Dumaige, 67cm high See illustration Having studied under Jean Feuchere and Christophe Dumont, Dumaige exhibited at the Salon from 1863 to 1886, receiving two medals during that time. The current pair of figures, representing Before Combat and After Combat are amongst his most popular works.. Bayonet reattached to rifle. Some typical surface wear and scratching throughout. 100220
Louis Kley (French, 1833-1911): A Bronze Figure of a Young Boy, wearing a clown's costume standing rolling up his sleeves, signed L KLEY, on a rouge marble circular base, 16cm high; and A Bronze Figure of a Goat, in the manner of Jean Barye, on a green marble base, 8.5cm long (2). Typical minor surface wear and scratching.
Giovanni de Martino (Italian, 1870-1935): A Bronze Bust of a Boy, wearing a hat with a feather, on a marble plinth, signed G MARTINO, stamped DIRITTI D'AUTORE and with foundry stamp, 14cm high; A White Alabaster Bust of a Young Boy, wearing a hat, inscribed PARIS, on a marble plinth, 14cm high; and A Bronze Bust of a Girl, on a marble plinth, indistinctly signed, 7cm high (3). Bronzes with some typical minor surface wear. Alabaster with typical scratching and minor flakes.
French School (19th century): A Gilt Bronze Bird, with its head under one raised wing, on a green marble plinth, 13cm high; A Silvered Metal Figure of a Fox, on a quartz baes, 13cm high; A Brass Figure of a Cockerel, after Jules Moigniez, 21cm high; and A Brass Model of a Lizard, 13cm long (4). The fox is loose from the base and with surface wear. The cockerel with surface wear and some of the tail feathers misshapen. The other two pieces in the lot in good condition.
French School (circa 1900): A Bronze Figure of a Bacchic Cherub, standing loosely draped, a bunch of grapes over his shoulder, on a circular base and stepped square onyx plinth, 24cm high. Some surface scratching. Figure partially loose on base. Some typical minor flakes to onyx. Feet missing.
Rudolf Kaesbach (1873-1955): A Bronze Figure of a Fallen Gladiator, on one knee, his sword in his raised right hand, on a mound base and black marble plinth, signed R KAESBACH, 30cm long. Metal in good condition with slight wear. Some minor chipping to the underside of the base. Height of the figure 28cm.
A German WILHELM II Commemorative Parcel Gilt Bronze Plaque, circa 1900, of circular form, cast in relief with a profile bust, inscribed WILHELM II IMP REX within a reeded border with crown finial, the reverse with crowned WII, on a green marble column and shaped square base, 24cm high. ~ A Gilt Metal William Pitt Memorial Medal, circa 1806, set with a pâte de verre cameo bust of Pitt within a motto NON SIBI SED PATRIAE VIXIT below a laurel wreath, the reverse with enamel panel inscribed PITT CLUB on a textured ground, further inscribed SIR JOHN HEATHCOTE within a blue enamel rim inscribed in gilt In Memory of the Rt Honourable Wm Pitt Died 23 January 1806 aged 47, 5cm, with suspension loop and blue ribbon, in red morocco case; and A Similar Gilt Metal Pitt Club Medal, inscribed SIR I E HEATHCOTE KNT (lacking cameo and enamel) (2) See illustration The original London Pitt Club was founded in 1793 by Nathaniel Atcheson of the Middle Temple to counteract the principles disseminated by the partisans of the French Revolution. Its meetings were held on the birthdays of the King and Queen, but after Mr Pitt's retirement from office and the celebrated meeting of 1802 at which upwards of 900 people attended the Hall of the Merchant Taylors, the members of this association met on the anniversaries of Mr Pitt's birthday until 1808 when it was thought a more extensive society might be formed to perpetuate the principles of this illustrious statesman. The first dinner held in 1808 cost £841-8-6. Subsequently, approximately 45 country clubs were established and many of these issued badges in bronze, silver gilt and silver, as well as in pewter. Rule 10 of the London club reads That each member shall wear at all meetings of the Club the Pitt medal, tied on his left breast with a garter blue ribbon and that the larger medal with the wider ribbon be worn by the chairman of the day.. As per description the 2nd medal lacking the cameo, this medal also has some wear and minor dents.

A 19th century French mantel clock with bronze surmount of Napoleon on horseback, the circular dial set with Roman numerals above engine turned detail, height 44cm.Additional InformationGeneral wear, a couple of the bracket feet are slightly loose, missing the back panel, the bronze surmount is slightly loose and has dropped a little because of the weight, the circular glass front is missing part of the hinge but does still fix on to the main part of the clock - please see additional images.
