She is traditionally credited with a pilgrimage to Palestine, during which she discovered the True Cross of Jesus crucifixion. Because of her piety she was officialy numbered among the Christian saints by Church.

ITALY, A BRONZE OBVERSE MATRIX OF PAPAL BULLA, Rome (?), ca. 12-14th centuries, 110.053g. Possibly unique. Attractively toned. Extremely fine In Roman Catholicism, a papal bulla is an official papal letter or document. The name is derived from the lead seal (bulla) traditionally affixed to such documents. Since the 12th century it has designated a letter from the pope carrying a bulla that shows the heads of the apostles St. Peter and Paul on one side and the pope signature on the other. By the 13th century the term referred to only the most important documents issued by the popes. These included canonizations of saints, dogmatic pronouncements, Henry VIII dispensation to marry Catherine of Aragon, the restoration of the Society of Jesus in 1814...
