Wills etc. Able Seaman Leonard Hull was born in 1890, living in London at the outbreak of the Great War he volunteered his service to the 1/25th London Cyclist. He later transferred to the RND joining Drake Battalion. He landed in France o the 10th July 1918. The official report into his death reported On August 21st near Cambrai, Leonard Hull was Killed by a shell. The Company had taken it's objective Logeast Wood and Hull was with six other men, the shell fell and killed all six.

A Chinese bronze incense burner on stand with two “Chi” dragon handles and elephant foot style tripod, body depicts a beautiful “Chi” and a bat flying among scrolling Lingzhi and flowers, neck and stand each engraved with a band of leaves, late18th/early 19th century. A gilt bronze inkstand in the form of a water or drinks vendor wearing and ringing bells, an ornate reservoir on his back with hinged finial and banner lid to hold accessories, standing on a rocky shore before a bocage, a large raying shell in front for pens, cut glass wells with separate gilt bronze covers on the shore either side of the vendor, the latter removeable to reveal a compartment for wafers, stamps etc. 36x22x26cm. high. CR. Generally very good, no chips to wells, but one end of shell had crack across about 3cm. from the end.
