A Small sword of a diplomat or high-ranking official, France, second half of the 19th century. The steel triangular blade is decorated with engraving, blue plating and gilding. The hilt is made of very high quality gilded bronze, the handle consists of two mother-of-pearl overlays, decorated with longitudinal grooves. Leather scabbard with sword belt. The upper part of the scabbard is made of gilded brass, the lower part of the scabbard is lost. Very high quality small sword, for collecting. Length 86 cm.

French Napoleon III Diplomat Sword, mid-19th century. Beautiful sword from the Second Empire period. It is an elegant straight blade with three edges, decorated with engravings and perfectly preserved blue and gilding. A very high quality gilded bronze hilt decorated with faceted steel inserts. On the protection shield, we find the imperial eagle. The pommel also features an imperial eagle. Gilded engraved bronze handle and with bands of burnished steel. One bands is missing. Leather sheath with gold plated brass fittings. A decorative chain connects the pommel and the guard. A very exquisite weapon in excellent collectible condition.Height: 98 cm;

Magnificent French General's Sabre, Permet a Paris, First Empire, early 19th century. Steel curved blade with one wide fuller on each side. On both sides, the blade is decorated with engraving, blueing and gilding. The hilt is of high quality made of gilded bronze. The wooden handle is painted black and decorated with geometric decoration. Crack on the handle due to age. Scabbard made of gilded brass with two rings for attaching to a sword belt. The top of the scabbard is engraved with the inscription "Permet a Paris". Francois Pirmet (French, Paris, recorded 1779Ð1818) was gunmaker to Jerome Bonaparte (1784Ð1860), Napoleon's brother, who ruled as king of Westphalia from 1807 to 1813. Sometimes he signed his works "gunmaker to His Majesty, the King of Westphalia". Several objects made by Francois Pirmet are kept in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other major museums around the world. A wonderful collector's item with historical value. Length 101 cm.

The straight steel blade is decorated with etching and gilding. The figured guard and pommel are made of bronze and gilded. The spiral-shaped handle is made of steel, coated with silver and blue. The steel scabbard is covered with high-quality etched and gilded decor. PatternsIt is believed that such daggers were worn by prostitutes for self-defense. In fact, they were also used by middle-class and high-status women. . The very high quality of this dagger indicates that it was used by a woman of high position and income. A beautiful collectible dagger with a romantic history. Length 20 cm.

American gilt ceremonial sword, belonged to W.R. Vermilye, 19th century. Magnificent sword made by Ames Mfc. Co, inscribed on the scabbard "Presented to Major W.R. Vermilye by the 5th company National Guard as a testimony of respect and esteem for their late commandant, New York, 21st April, 1840". Note: Colonel Washington Romeyn Vermilye (29 September 1810 - 23 December 1876) was an American banker who served as President of the New York Stock Exchange. It has a gilded bronze openwork crossguard and a figural helmet pommel, and a heavily engraved silver-gilt grip. The blade is etched with floral, acorn, eagle, figurative decoration and the inscription W.R. Vermilye. The gilt bronze scabbard is engraved with eagle, scroll and other military ephemera.Note: As mentioned in Emmons Clark's History of the Seventh Regiment of New York, 1806-1889 (Vol. 1, p. 275), "Colonel Jones, in the presence of the Mayor and Common Council, and a large crowd of spectators, presented to Major Vermilye, on behalf of this company, an elegant and valuable sword, as a token of the esteem and affection of his comrades, and in recognition of his long and faithful service to the company." Renzo Colombo (Italian, 1856-1885) Bronze bust of Napoleon 1st with figurative eagle in front. The bust depicts Napoleon having a firm expression, wearing his bicorne hat. Signed R Colombo and dated 1885 on side, French foundry bronze medallion opposite side "BRONZE GUARANTI AU TITRE PARIS". The base has an Imperial Eagle with outstretched wings and below, a brass plaque with the inscription ÒNAPOLEON 1er.". This heroic bust, by far the most sought of this artistÕs output. A wonderful collectorÕs item in excellent condition. Height 30 cm.

A Long flintlock pistol from the end of the 17th century signed Roy Alby, France. Steel round barrel, caliber 13 mm. Stock in burr walnut has inset chiseled iron panels and mounts. A shield with a crown is attached to the back of the stock. The steel pommel of the handle ends with a bronze plate with the image of a lion. Very beautiful engraving on the flintlock panel, signed by master gunsmith Roy Alby. Fitted with a iron ramrod with bone ending. A beautiful, collectible pistol with a flintlock. Length 58 cm.
