A First World War casualty group, awarded to Royal Naval Petty Officer Frederick Drury Blunsdon 203087, comprising; 1914-15 Star, British War, Victory medals and bronze Memorial Plaque,Condition: All pieces with wear and scratches, ribbons with fraying. Petty Officer 1st Class Frederick Drury Blunsdon (1883-1914) was killed in action on the 3rd November 1914. P.O. Blunsdon was part of the crew of the British submarine HMS D-5, which was struck by a mine and sunk during a German raid off Great Yarmouth in the North Sea. Twenty of the twenty-five strong submariner crew lost their lives.

Alexander M'Kenzie according to the catalogue Industrial Index for the 1873 exhibition was based at 5, Little Windmill Street, Haymarket, London. 1874 catalogue lists No 4325 listed as LEWIS, A. Three Photographs, Lent by Mr. James Linstead.
After John Rogers (American, 1829-1904), a bronze of 'The Shaughraun and "Tatters"',titled to the base, stamped 'JOHN ROGERS, NEW YORK', stamped to reverse 'PATENTED MARCH 2 1875'height approx. 49cmCondition: The bronze is in overall fair condition, the cast head section is loose and being held in place with a pin fixed through the chest. There is also a dent to the base. No other cracks or breakage's, superficially dirty. Heavily rubbed in areas.
A George III oak 8 day longcase clocksigned Thomas Bevan, Marlborough on the 12" dial with silvered chapter ring, having Roman and outer Arabic numerals, dual minutes tracks, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, brass pierced spandrels with two train movement striking on a bell, the case having pedimented hood with three pedestals for finials (missing), a glazed door flanked by a pair of turned columns with gilt bronze capitals and bases, the trunk with hinged door, on a box base with shaped feet,height approx. 223cm, width 51cmCondition: Weights present, the case is missing the three finials, shrinkage to one column which makes it slightly loose, small loss to corner of the pediment, some moulding missing from the top edge of the base, Movement untested and no guarantee can be offered as to the full working order.
