A WWII Second World War Third Reich Nazi German Battle Memorial Plaque dedicated to one Corporal Ernest Rieck who was born December 1894 and died December 1914. The framed ans glazed dedication with a black and white portrait surrounded by listing of the officers battles, promotions and awards. Measures approx 40x55cm.

An unusual George III novelty snuff box, in lacquered Papier-mâché on tortoiseshell, bordered with tooled unmarked silver, the cover enclosing a portrait miniature of a seated lady, partially on ivory, with thumb-pull mechanism moving the figure’s arm, holding a floral bouquet, to and from the figure’s face, 3cm high, 7.5cm diameter.
