Attributed to Momokawa Shiko, monochrome woodblock print, three quarter length portrait of a lady, a Japanese woodblock print depicting a procession of a coach with shinto priests and army officers, a Japanese woodblock print depicting a male figure and an Indian watercolour on paper of huntsmen attacking a tiger.
A pair of oval portrait miniatures, European circa 1800, depicting an army officer and a lady, probably his wife, both indistinctly signed, each mounted within a border of half pearls, within a blue enamelled surround, within gilt borders, the backs glazed with locket compartments, with gilt monograms, with a fitted rectangular brown leather case, with gilt tooled decoration. A plain-stemmed goblet of Williamite significance, the drawn trumpet bowl engraved and polished with profile bust portrait medallions of William III and Mary, beneath the legend THE GLORIOUS & IMMORTAL MEMORY OF KING WILLIAM III & HIS QUEEN MARY, the stem with tear inclusion, on a folded conical foot, 18cm high, the glass mid 18th century, the engraving possibly late 19th century (cracked and repaired); and another goblet (chipped foot). Much of this type of engraving is thought to have been executed by a Bohemian engraver in Ireland in the late 19th century by the name of Franz Tieze.
Sir Jacob Epstein 1880-1959 Portrait of Sergeant Major Mitchell signed titled and dated June 1918 pencil 36x26cm.; 14x10in. In April 1918 Epstein suffered from a break down which led to his transfer from the army to Mount Tovy Hospital in Plymouth. This work is one of the portrait drawings to survive from this period. Duncan Grant 1885-1978 portrait of david garnett signed with initials dated 51 and inscribed Cambridge pencil 47x37.5cm.; 18.5x14.75in. Like Duncan Grant David 'Bunny' Garnett was a conscientious objector during the First World War and moved to Charleston with Grant and Vanessa Bell in 1916. He later married their daughter Angelica.
