Harold Riley (British, b.1934) - 'Gillian Marks'Portrait in oil and watercolour, signed and dated (19)74, approx. 39x33cm, framed.Provenance: Note from a previous vendor 'My wife and I knew Harold Riley for many years his first wife Hannalore, and daughter Kate when they lived in a flat in Salford. This portrait was a commission but not accepted by the subjects family and was donated by Harold as a prize to an autistic society function, who were told by Harold at the time that the subject was Gillian Marks'.

He held Office of Justice of Peace for Middlesex and was High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1862 Provenance: The Honorable Charles Lennox Dunboyne Butler (1813-1885) was the Great Great Grandfather of the vendor. It has been passed down to the vendor through family descent.

They measure 52cm x 39cm for the portrait shaped prints and 44cm x 53cm approx for the landscape shaped ones. Each one is signed bottom left in pencil, none are numbered
