A framed montage of Indian ivory miniatures, circa 1900 The framed picture enclosing twelve various oval portrait miniatures depicting maharaja's, architecture of palaces including the Taj Mahal, sizes ranging from 4.5x4cm and 10x8cm, all housed in a glazed and green plush frame. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 136: please note the miniatures have not been removed from the frame so the condition of the back is unknown. Although the miniatures all appear to be ivory, please note again they have not been removed and not tested. Some show slight curling to the edges. The architectural miniatures all appear to have small areas of water damage. the figural miniatures show small areas of loss to the paint.
