A coin collection comprising Royal Mint proof sets for 2009 (including Kew Gardens 50p), 2010 and 2011, brilliant un-circulated Queen's Portrait 2008 set, full set of twenty-nine London 2012 Olympic Sports Collection 50 pence pieces, with collectors' album and a Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games fourteen-coin set, all cased/sealed as issued. CONDITION REPORT Some of the 2012 50 pence pieces outer plastic packets have come apart, coins are still sealed in their cards.

Signed lower left corner. Colours remain good, minor age wear. Contained in contemporary gilt gesso oval glazed frame. Height overall 14 inches.

A RARE FRENCH SMALL SILVERGILT MARRIAGE CASKET on four lion feet with a domed cover, swing handle and a hasp and staple box lock, the body stamped in low relief with winged putti and formal scrollwork, the cover engraved on each end with a stylised shell and on top with scrollwork centred by the applied classical portrait of a man, struck (slightly mis-struck), on the base with a single mark, a fleur-de-lys crowned with a cross & a pellet or grain, probably late 16th/early 17th century; 3.1" (7.7 cms) long; 3.8 oz
