Sidney Sprague Morrish - Half Length Portrait of Lieutenant/Ensign Charles Thomas Cox in Uniform, decorated with his Waterloo Medal and Military General Service Medal with Six Bars for the Peninsular War, mid-19th Century oil on canvas, indistinctly signed and dated 1858 recto, inscribed verso, approx 75cm x 62cm, within a gilt composition frame. Note: Cox served with the 71st (Highland) Regiment of Foot (Light Infantry), the six bars on his M.G.S. were awarded for his service in Fuentes de Ornoro, Vittoria, Nivelles, The Nive, Toulouse and Orthes.
An oval portrait miniature of a lady wearing a two row necklace with a white lace headdress, in a colourless paste set double sided oval frame with a locket compartment at the back, an associated simulated marcasite set brooch, designed as a ribbon bow, and a Victorian shaped oval gilt metal brooch, glazed with a feathered hair locket compartment to one side, with the photographic portrait of a gentleman to the other side, the mount with a loop pierced border.

A George III oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass breakarch dial with applied boss to the arch painted with the head and shoulders portrait of a lady with automaton rolling eyes, the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals framing a matt centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture, all surrounded by mask, dolphin and scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded arched pediment above an arched trunk door, plain base and plinth, height approx 216cm, together with pendulum and two brass covered weights (faults and alterations).
A pearlware commemorative circular bowl, circa 1805, printed in underglaze blue with a portrait of Admiral Lord Nelson to the base interior within an inscribed frame surrounded by verse, emblems of war and foliate wreaths beneath a geometric rim (cracked and restored), together with a creamware pottery model of a seated pug, circa 1800, with brown glazed detail (cracked and restored).
