O Yemi, "The Violinist", unframed oil on canvas, 46 x 61cm, c. 2016. I love the works of Spanish surreal artists like Salvador Dali’s "Butterfly windmills" and Italian artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo’s "The Librarian." I love to create works from my own imagination that are not real. Looking at the picture of a young lady on my church’s notice board, I was inspired to do this painting. This young lady is a violinist in the church worship choir and I chose to use her musical instrument to paint her portrait. UK delivery £35.
O Yemi, "Lady Merete of Norway", unframed oil on canvas, 61 x 91cm, c. 2019. I am enchanted by the works of the Renaissance art old masters; most of my recent paintings were influenced by their works. I recently embarked on doing a series of paintings in the style of these old masters."Lady Merete of Norway" is the portrait painting of a young Norwegian lady I met at Art Awards and Exhibition in New York April 2018. I chose the portrait painting of the Queen of France, Elizabeth of Austria painted in 1571 by the French Renaissance artist – Clouet Francois as the reference for the "Lady Merete of Norway" portrait project. UK delivery £45.

He was the God of the arts, music, healing, purification, prophecy, oracles, plague, poetry, civilization, the sun, truth, intelligence, logic, reason, and archery, he also showed men the art of medicine. Condition Report:Overall the miniature is in very good condition.Towards the lower left of the miniature, at the edge of the frame there is what appears to be a small insect beneath the glass, although it may just be a small piece of debris. Under a 10x loupe there is some very slight craquelure to the red coat, just left of the lapel on the left hand side. There is also very small paint flake to the sky to the right of the sitters head, but this does not appear to be as a result of any flaking to the miniature itself, and was most likely done at the time the piece was painted. The frame has some surface scratches, as does the glass, commensurate with age, but neither are by any means heavily damaged, and the hairwork verso is in good overall condition also.
