Paul Robeson autographed photo. Rare 6x4 black and white portrait photograph signed by Paul Robeson (1898 - 1976). Robeson was an American singer and civil rights activist. Interestingly, this photo comes with a letter from the vendor explaining that her husband was part of a group trying to get entry for Mr Robeson to the UK but because he was a Communist they did not grant permission. So, the group organised a fund raiser, played all his records while a spotlight lit an empty chair on the stage! Good condition. All items come with a Certificate of Authenticity and can be shipped worldwide.
