A George VI General Service Medal (GSM) and sporting collection to casualty 552190 TPR A.G. COLMAN 11-H (11th Hussars) with Palestine clasp. Listed on Commonwealth War Graves Commission records as Serjeant Alfred George Colman of Royal Armoured Corps, died 25/02/1942 aged 26. Trophies including silver Inter-Services Boxing 1938 trophy, photograph portrait and Athletic medal. Lot 7366 contains the medals of a relative of this serviceman.
Munnik, Senator G.G. KRONIEKE VAN NOORDELIKE TRANSVAAL Pretoria, Suid Afrikaanse Boekwinkel, No Date First Edition, 4to, Hardcover, 136pp, Afrikaans Text. Bound in cream coloured bevelled cloth boards with black titling on the front board and to the spine, pictorial device in colour on the upper board. A total of 38 black and white illustrations throughout, portrait frontispiece. Head/heel and corners are a bit bumped and rubbed, with some marks on the front/back boards. Previous owner’s inscription on the front end-paper. There is a small stain on the fore edge, etc., but the overall appearance is good.
