Katie Sherrin (1872-1928):Portrait of a seated lady, watercolour, H 32 x W 25 cm. Provenance: Inscribed verso by the artist Richard Sherrin 'Katie Sherrin...studied at the Slade & then went to Rome where this painting was done in 1895. She was the eldest daughter of George Campbell Sherrin FRIBA of the Gatehouse, Ingatestone, Essex'.

LOUIS ALEXANDRE FRANCOIS, COMTE DE GIRARDIN (FRENCH 1797-1848), PORTRAIT OF A GENTLEMAN watercolour and bodycolour on ivory, signed "Girardin pinx" 6.5cm (oval) Framed Note: In a gold frame, which has been assayed at 0.600 Au (14ct.+), net weight (metal only) 8.6gms. Girardin was known principally as a landscape artist, but Blouin lists a number of portraits in oils, mainly of family members. This is the only miniature by him found so far.
AFTER HUGH DOUGLAS HAMILTON (SCOTTISH 1739 - 1808), THE ELDERLY CHARLES EDWARD STUART oil on board 37cm x 28cm Framed Note: This is a "Grand Tour" copy c1840, unusually much larger than the original, which was painted in Italy by Hamilton in 1775. The original is now in the National Portrait Gallery, London, who purchased it in 2011, at Sotheby's.
Oval, porcelain brooch with print portrait of Queen Victoria.Brooch commemorates the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. Edges outlined with gold plated rope-like design. Consists entirely of a full color head and shoulder portrait of the mature Queen wearing a small crown and mantilla, and a blue sash of the Order of the Garter on her left arm, as is the custom for ladies. On the sash is the St. George's star and a fob brooch with a profile of Prince Albert. Standard back pin and hook closure. Doulton Burslem backstamp. Modeled in Parian porcelain, evoking the look of Paros marble.A classical inspired portrait bust in Parian of Field Marshal Colin Campbell, 1st Baron Clyde, (1792–1863), British Army officer and a Commander-in-Chief of British forces in India during the Indian Mutiny of 1857. A hero and a favorite of Queen Victoria, he was raised to the peerage as Baron Clyde in 1858. This impressive bust dates from that year. No factory marks but not unusual.
