Länge 315,5 cm.Von großer Seltenheit, aufgrund der großen Länge sind in den fürstlichen Sammlungen nur wenige Turnierlanzen erhalten geblieben. A rare German tournament lance, circa 1600 Small, leaf-shaped blade on conical socket. Slightly conical, finely fluted haft with smooth grip. Older iron handguard dating from the 16th century engraved with three portrait cartouches. The edges engraved with ornamental bands, slight traces of gold-plating visible. Surrounding lining rivets. The lower part of the haft with later iron hook, pointed iron shoe. Length 315.5 cm.Extremely rare, due to its considerable length only a small number of tournament lances have survived in princely collections.

A raised and gilt parade Renaissance style burgonet, Milan, circa 1860 One-piece iron skull with incorporated peak and neck guard. Surrounded by finely fluted lining rivets, the edges finely turned and roped, the cheek-pieces missing. Richly decorated with embossed designs, the ground with traces of gold-plating. Depicted on both sides of the skull Hercules holding a torch and fighting the Lernean Hydra, respectively, on the obverse Hercules fighting the Nemean Lion. The tall comb, peak, and neck guard with raised portrait cartouches set between trophies. Height 30 cm. A superb piece dating from the age of early historism.

First edition book of this early classic of chess literature by an attorney from Fossombrone who wrote it for recreation in the course of four months. Aside from presenting a complete description of the game, the author tries to prove, from the point of view of both canon and civil law, that chess is exempt from general bans on games of chance because it is a game of skill.

When Rubinstein could not be induced to return, his family who was living in dire poverty asked Kmoch for help in raising funds. The result was an ad placed asking to finance this book on a subscription basis. The result was a book entitled " Rubinstein gewinnt! " : Hundert Glanzpartien des grossen Schachknstlers.
