A joined oak "court cupboard", in part 17th century, gadrooned cornice, guilloche frieze, bearing date 1603, panelled door with a relief portrait of Queen Elizabeth I, the canopy supported by cup and cover uprights, deep frieze with two drawers, potboard under-section, width 164cm, (64½"), depth 54cm, (21"), height 167cm, (66").
A PLASTER PORTRAIT ROUNDEL AFTER MARY POWNALL BROMET and a further similar roundel depicting the profile portrait of a woman with braided hair, one signed M Pownall and dated 1899, 8 3/4" diameter (2) These two profile portraits are possibly studies for a larger relief picture of Pownall Bromet`s mother.
