Along with signed photographs of Barnaby Edwards (Doctor Who), Matt Lucas (Little Britains) and Brian Blessed (Flash Gordon). Many obtained from charity auctions, with accompanying paperwork / letters etc.
A rare and fascinating collection of original artwork by Friz Freleng, creator of Warner Bros ' Bugs Bunny ' cartoon character. Comprising of various pieces of hand drawn designs for a greetings or autograph card, various signed sketches (hand drawn), a self portrait caricature and other items, many signed. All slightly larger than A4. x6 pieces in total. Obtained from Freleng by the vendor. Along with a rare original acetate / clear plastic animation panel of Warner Brothers ' Bugs Bunny ,' featuring the title character to the top. Signed underneath in marker pen by creator Friz Freleng. The very base annotated ' WB 1988 '. Been made into a bookmark sized piece. Obtained by our vendor from a Rick De Lome who created the ' Art Of Friz Freleng ' book. 30.5cm long.
Eric Gill (1882-1940) - a large uniface cast bronze Medal sculpted by John Skelton, 1994, for the British Art Medal Society, bearded and bespectacled head facing right, wearing a printer's folded paper cap, bordered with the script Eric Gill Sculptor Type Designer Writer, cast by Lunt and issued in an edition of 57 only, 13.0 cm - John Skelton (1923-1999) was Eric Gill's nephew and apprenticed to him in a short time before the death of Gill, after which Skelton continued to work, the portrait being taken from Gill's self-portrait wood-cut of 1927, extremely fine - Est £150 - £250
