A collection of six pieces of silver jewellery depicting the portrait of the Laughing Cavalier after Franz Hals, the collection includes a circular butterfly wing pendant with overlaid Laughing Cavalier portrait, with curb chain, three pin brooches, one with butterfly wing background, a rectangular head ring with butterfly wing background and an oval pendant, all with the Laughing Cavalier portrait overlaid, all stamped Sterling Silver Rhodium Plated, (6).
A lot to include a 9ct yellow gold opal brooch, claw set with an oval opal doublet, measuring approx. 17x13mm, on plain bar brooch, stamped 9ct, (A/F), together with a gold plated oval cameo pin brooch, depicting a male figure with three rearing horses, with gold plated open metalwork frame, complete with safety chain, and a mother of pearl cameo pendant, depicting a female portrait in profile, with white metal surround, on fancy link chain, (3).

A 19th century half length portrait miniature, of a gentleman wearing a cravat, watercolour on ivory, signed T Carlyle and dated 1839, 9 x 7.5 cm, cased Condition report Report by NG Loose in case. Ivory mounted on paper. Some scratches to paint and losses to edge. Colours good. Couple of marks and rubbing. Fingerprint also visible in black jacket. Outer case with rubbing, scratches and wear, approx. 12.5 x 11 cm.
W Barclay, a half length miniature portrait of a lady, watercolour, signed and dated 1833 (cracked), 21 x 14.5 cm Condition report Report by MW General wear, the surface of the miniature has several cracks around the extremities on all four sides. There is also a repair to one crack on the left hand side, bottom left hand corner, also the overall image has a slight ripple to it. The colours have faded with age, mostly to the foliage of the trees and to her sash. The frame has wear commensurate to age with the gilding rubbed on the high points of the swept area of the frame. Also the joints are coming loose on the gilded portion of the frame, and there is loss to the gesso in the bottom right hand corner. Also the swag at the top of the frame has some cracks and the velvet, which runs round the outside of the gilt frame is very worn and threadbare and has lost its colour due to sun damage.
CONTINENTAL SCHOOL "Seated elderly bearded Cardinal in red skull cap and robes", watercolour, unsigned, together with "Portrait study of a girl", modern reproduction colour print CONDITION REPORTS Size of Cardinal picture approx 14 x 17cm, some light general wear and some small nicks and wear around edges of paper, but otherwise appears in reasonably good order. There is a pencil inscription to the back of the frame which reads "Jan 18th 1969....". Back has been removed for inspection, and there is a pencil inscription to the back of the picture - which appears as though it may read ".... green Walnut flat .."?? - please see photos. The framed print of a lady has some general wear and scuffs.
EARLY 20TH CENTURY ENGLISH SCHOOL "Young woman with brown hair", a portrait study, head and shoulders, oil on canvas, unsigned CONDITION REPORTS Approx 40 x 50cm. Wear, dirt, scuffs, craquelure. Appears to be unfinished. Thick paint verso, and painting is under glass, so unable to ascertain condition of canvas. Frame with damage and losses and woodworm holes.
A 20th Century French bronzed and gilt embellished table lamp in the Regency taste, inscribed "Par Brevet...", together with AFTER HORACE HONE "Elizabeth, Countess of Lanesborough", miniature portrait, coloured engraving by F Bartolozzi, published August 12th 1791, together with a pair of 19th Century polychrome decorated serving dishes of kidney form CONDITION REPORTS Lamp base has chips and flaking and gilt metal mounts have some mis-shaping. Base and column appears to be of a fairly thin painted metal. Approx 88cm high. Portrait print has some wear and stains and frame is cracked. Dishes have some cracks and heavy wear.
